In addition to the regular Beginner Novice through Training levels, Mayfest 2001 hosted a USCTA Educational Three-Day Event at Kentucky Horse Park.
From the First Arrival Exam to the Final Show Jumping phase, horses and riders went through the week as if it were a real Three Day Event. And at every turn, experienced riders gave lectures, demonstrations, and clinics that covered all aspects of a Three-Day Event. All phases were held at the Training level of difficlty. The cross-country course included banks, water and other obstacles, expected on a solid Training level course.
